Vernis leather: Light signs of use. Some surface scratches, light fading from scuffs or sticking to another item and some light stickiness. The bag has deepened in color and looks like a mix of black and purple.

Cowhide leather: Deeper honey patina/color, scratches, scuffs, lines and water stains. The top of the strap has some green marks.

Shape: Keeps its shape nice and stiff with very gentle use. The sides of the bag stick out slightly.
