Cowhide leather: Deep patina/color, scratches, scuffs, dark marks, lines and water stains. The inside of the shoulder strap has some black marks and shade from heavier water stains or exposure to something (not visible when the bag is carried).

Shape: Keeps its shape well.

Edges: Signs of use (scuffs, dark shade).

Hardware: Signs of use. The gold-tone is a deeper shade with some gold coating wearing off a bit.
