Authentic Vintage Chanel 2.55 Paris Limited Double Flap Bag in black quilted lambskin leather. It has a CC twist lock in silver x gold tone on the front flap. Second flap has a snap button closure. Underneath it, there is one slip in pocket and inside lining is in the classic Chanel red leather. One interior open pocket is split into 3 compartments. Brass chain winded with leather can be carried as shoulder bag with double or single chain. This is the limited classic original Coco Chanel designs. SKU: CG977

Overall: 7 of 10 Great pre owned condition with some visible signs of use.

Outside: Some signs of use.

Inside: Some signs of use (scuffs, surface scratches, general dry and stiffness). The first flap has some press marks from the quilting stitches. The underside of the 2nd flap has noticeable horizontal crease lines. A small spot of the red leather is peeling on the top left corner opening.A noticeable tear at the left edge of the zipper.

Leather: Some signs of use. Light surface scratches, lines, and scuffs overall.

Shape: Keeps its shape but has signs of use. A bit dry and stiff overall and the top of the bag has a crease line.

Edges: Signs of use (visible scuffs, especially the bottom corners).

Hardware: Signs of use (light scratches). The gold-tone is a deeper shade with some gold coating wearing off a bit.

Smell: Strong musty smell, airing it out might help. This is a pre-owned item and will not smell brand new. If you are very sensitive to smells please keep this in mind before you decide to purchase this product.

Extra comments: No serial number sticker. A small spot of the red leather is peeling on the top left corner opening and there is a small tear at the edge of the zipper pocket.
