Vernis leather: Some signs of use. The leather has uneven tanning and looks closer to a light gold than yellow/beige in some areas. Few gentle crease lines, and tiny gray dots/marks.

Cowhide leather: Looks clean with a deep but evenly toned patina/color and some signs of use (lines, gentle scuffs on edges).

Shape: Keeps its shape but has signs of use. Has softened in places and not perfectly cylindrical.

Edges: Signs of use (scuffs).

Hardware: Signs of use. Some gold coating wearing off a bit.
